The Sterns selected to play Fenway Park!
Organizers of the Hot Stove, Cool Music concert series today announced that up-and-coming artists Girl Authority, Oneside, Phil Ayoub, The Sterns and The Downbeat 5 will perform on the Sonicbids Side Stage at Hot Stove, Cool Music: The Fenway Park Sessions presented by Iron Mountain. The third annual charity fundraiser takes place on Friday, August 24 at Fenway Park beginning at 4:00 p.m.
This special benefit concert also features performances by a host of sports, music and entertainment all-stars including five-time Grammy Award winner John Legend; Buffalo Tom; Kay Hanley; French Lick featuring Boston Celtics Managing Partner & Co-Owner Wyc Grousbeck, and the Hot Stove All-Stars featuring the legendary J. Geils, young local soul phenom Eli "Paperboy" Reed, Red Sox Executive Vice President/General Manager Theo Epstein and ESPN Commentator Peter Gammons. The event will be emceed by comedian and television star Mike O'Malley.
